On Science
The Research Scientist needs the right amounts of creativity and daring mixed with methodology and diligence in order to make significant discoveries without blowing up the lab. Of course, if he finds the cure for cancer nobody minds if the laboratory is demolished. (In other words, find the cure for cancer before accidently destroying the lab.)
